About the event
We know its REALLY early and you should be sleeping! But climb out of bed and come and join us to celebrate National Dawn Chorus Day. First started in 1984, International Dawn Chorus Day was organised at Moseley Bog in Birmingham by the Urban Wildlife Trust ( (now The Wildlife Trust for Birmingham and the Black Country)) and has grow into the worldwide celebration of nature's greatest symphony. All across the world people rise early to revel in the sweet sound of birdsong.
Ian, our guide for the morning, will be able to help us identify a variety of birds that will be  either establishing and defending their breeding territory, trying to attract a mate or calling in the flock! So if you want to know your Yaffle "yell" from your Bum-Barrel "beeep beep" come and join us - and we'll be finished in time for breakfast too!
Sorry, but unfortunately NO DOGS at this event - even the best behaved dogs disturb the birds. We will have plenty of other events where you wll be able to bring your dogs
Equipment:Â
