About the event
The Friends of Robinswood Hill will be joined by ex-members of 602 Sqn, Royal Signals as part of their annual reunion weekend. Mr. Sam Gardner and his colleagues will be giving a short presentation on life as a national serviceman in the 1960s, their role with the Royal Signals, and life in the barracks. After the short presentation, there will be a Q&A session where members will have an opportunity to ask any questions. Finally, we will take a gentle stroll around to the old barracks location (or for those less able, they can drive around to the one church to meet up with the walkers) where Sam and the team will "walk the ground" of the old barracks.
Timings: Presentation will commence at 2pm in the Summerfield Room, followed by a short Q&A session. We plan to start walk round to the One Church area at about 3pm.
