About the event

Based on his doctoral research, Ben Klinkenberg will be discussing the social and ecological history of the Forest of Dean, culminating in the modern day with the (re) introduction of wild boar to the forest. There will be insights on the impact of the wild boar on the people of the Forest of Dean and discussion on how this affects the future of other reintroductions in the area.
