About the event
Matson, Robinswood and White City have recently been accepted as part of the government's Pride in Place scheme.
Pride in Place is a Government programme that puts local people in charge of improving their own neighbourhood. Matson & Robinswood has been chosen to receive up to £20 million over the next 10 years — around £2 million every year. Residents will decide where the money goes: from parks and green spaces to community buildings, shops and community businesses, activities for young people, renovating buildings or bringing empty and run-down sites back into use.
A local Neighbourhood Board has been appointed to make the final decisions but everyone in the area getting the chance to have their say.
Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust are working with the Pride in Place board to run this consultation.
We would like to invite all the Friends of Robinswood Hill to attend a meeting at Robinswood Hill…
